Have you ever heard of Hades? |

There are a few religious systems which believe that when a person dies, depending on their behavior, their 'spirit' or 'soul' will go to one of two places. The Greco-Roman system had heroic people spending their existence after death in a place called the Elysian Fields, a paradise where parties abound. The bad or cowardly people spend their existence after death being forever tortured, or forced to endure extreme hardship in Tartarus. When the Romans became Catholics, they transferred this into the 'heaven and hell' fantasy, which is not based on the Holy Bible. |

There is a place where Enoch, Elijah, and Moses went...and where Jesus Christ came from and returned. It is the place where Lucifer failed in his angelic duties, and chose to become evil, to be kicked out of forever. It is the Paradise where Jesus went to prepare a place for us. (John 14:2-4, 6) The Garden of Eden was taken away from the Earth, and placed to be there. Heaven not only has all kinds of animals, and plants; the New Jerusalem is there. The city of Jerusalem has the glory of God, and the light as a precious stone...great and high walls, with twelve gates...twelve angels at those gates...and the twelve gates are each made of one individual pearl. The city streets are of pure gold, like transparent glass. There is a pure river, clear as crystal, proceeding from the throne of God and of the Lamb. In the middle of the river, spanning both sides is the tree of life, which has twelve different fruits. Other scriptures talk about the Lion and the Lamb, the wolf and the child getting along together, in peace and harmony. Jesus is making mansions there for us...I would be happy with a little shack, as long as I could be there, with Jesus. Amen. |

Where is Hell anyway? Is it a place somewhere deep underground? Is it a netherworld as described in ancient mythology? Is it the place where sinners will go to burn in fire and brimstone forever and ever? Is it a lake of fire, somewhere in the spiritual realm? Based on the book of Revelation, Hell is the World, after the Saved leave it...and the destruction of Satan and all that is Evil takes place. Hell is Eternal Separation from God...Hell is the Second Death that Christ experienced on the Cross--the Death which we are saved from when we accept Jesus Christ as our Savior and Redeemer. Search your Bible. The Book of Revelation can be difficult...Pray the Holy Spirit guides you as you read it, and reread it. |

Where do you go? |

The Bible says that the dead do not know anything, and they do not do anything. The dead also have nothing to do with the world. (Ecclesiastes 9:4-6) Therefore, that tells us that you do not wander around as a ghost when you die. What about the soul or the spirit, Are those different? According to Genesis 2:7, the Lord God fashioned man from the dust, with his hands, then he breathed the 'breath of life' into his nostrils, and man became a living soul, or a living being. Ezekiel 18:4 says that all souls belong to God, and that the soul that sins will die. There is no immortality for us in this World...1 Timothy 6:15-16 says that only God is immortal...so to say that a human soul is immortal is incorrect. It goes back to the 'heaven and hell' fantasy I spoke of earlier. Purgatory is based on the thoughts of the people who tried to apply Roman thinking to the Holy Bible. When you die, your 'life-force' or 'breath-of-life' returns to God. That which makes you who you are, goes into the grave and decays until the Second Coming of Christ, when he calls the 'Dead in Christ' forth from the grave. (1 Thessalonians 4:16) If you went to heaven upon death, why would Christ need to return to get the dead? |
